The Department of Career Services provides support and assistance in career planning, job search strategies, interview techniques, and resume development. These services are provided through individual and group advising, workshops, and opportunities to network with industry professionals through Portfolio Shows, career fairs and networking events. Job leads for full-time professional work, part-time jobs and internships are available through your Career Services Advisor and a library of online and hard-copy career materials is available for student use.
The Art Institute of Vancouver students are an active group with a wide range of interests. To break up the routine, the school hosts some fun, extracurricular activities. Each quarter, student organized events like DJ nights and live bands take place on campus. We also promote contests, parties, and presentations that mark festivals and holidays.
Graduates are invited to join our Alumni Club. The Club serves as a key link between students and the school. It forms a strong network that promotes contacts and valuable relationships, and benefits everyone.

The Art Institute of Vancouver has some special services for those with physical challenges, including elevators to transport students between classroom floors and the building entrance.
