Interior designers conceptualize and produce designs for interior spaces in residential, commercial and other buildings.
Interior designers perform some or all of the following duties:
Consult with clients to determine needs, preferences, and purpose of space, and develop detailed plans/functional designs to meet clients' needs.
Estimate costs/required materials, and prepare specification for the final interior designs.
Direct site work crews.
May specialize in designing interiors for residences, offices, hotels, restaurants or retail establishments.
