Outdoor sport and recreational guides organize and conduct trips or expeditions for sports enthusiasts, adventurers, tourists and resort guests.

Duties May Include

Outdoor sport and recreational guides perform some or all of the following duties:

Plan, demonstrate, instruct, and carry out recreational, athletic, fitness, and sports activities;

Assemble supplies/equipment;

Instruct groups/individuals in arts, crafts, and similar activities and lead them in recreation/leisure activities;

Attend to clients with special needs;

Conduct therapeutic recreational/athletic activities;

Monitor recreational/sports activities to ensure safety and enforce safety rules/regulations, and provide emergency or first aid assistance when required.
