The Certificate in Administrative Studies (CAS) is a formal undergraduate certificate program. Students who successfully complete this program will receive a Brock University certificate.

This program provides an overview of foundational business practices for people who do not wish to proceed to a degree, or those who already have a degree in a different field and who are interested in applying such knowledge to their current field of study, or in their career. For those who already hold an undergraduate degree, it can also prepare students to successfully pursue the Master of Business Administration program.

We expect each student to bring a unique and diverse background and experience to the program.

The goal of the program is provide you with an opportunity to demonstrate recent academic success.

As the majority of our CAS graduates will continue into one of our graduate programs, the application review takes all aspects of your application into consideration. Candidates are selected based on their academic ability, professional and leadership experience, and future potential for achievement and success in the business world. Requirement:

• Four-year non-business bachelor’s degree (Canadian equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• One year of work experience in a related field

• International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) or Pearson Test of English (Academic)
