Requirements for International Students

Students wishing to attend an Ontario university must apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC). All applications are completed online at www.ouac.on.ca. Current Ontario secondary school use the 101 form. All other undergraduate applicants use the 105 form as well as international students.

Academic requirements vary from program to program and from country to country. For a complete list of countries and minimum academic credentials required for admission consideration, visit brocku.ca/admissions/international/requirements-by-country. Attainment of the minimum credentials does not guarantee admission as additional factors including academic standing, program choice, program prerequisites, and English language proficiency are also part of the admission decision.

If English is not your first language, you will need proof of your English language proficiency. Acceptable minimum test scores can be found here: brocku.ca/admissions/english-proficiency/.

If you require further English language training and will not meet our English language proficiency requirements, we suggest that you consider our Conditional Acceptance Program. This program allows students to apply to Brock University's Intensive English Language Program (IELP) and undergraduate studies at the same time. Upon successful completion of the fifth level examination of the IELP, you will enter undergraduate studies. For more information on this option, please visit brocku.ca/esl-services/programs/ielp.
