Gain foundational skills in backpacking, canoeing, cross-country and backcountry skiing, kayaking, mountain biking, wilderness survival and rock climbing. Create a diverse toolbox of skills in key areas of program planning, risk management, leadership, environmental stewardship, critical thinking and problem solving that can be applied effectively across a wide spectrum of sectors.
Pushing your limits, both physically and academically, is definitely part of this rigorous four-year program, but it also emphasizes the importance of safety while helping to prepare you for a leadership role in the fast-growing fields of ecotourism, adventure tourism and outdoor pursuits.
