Description:Applied Software Development, ASD is aimed at three audiences: New students who want to learn programming languages, those who are moving on to the Computer Systems Certificate, and Legacy programmers who need new languages and environments.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 English 
  •  Grade12 Mathematics 
Applicants must have a Applied Computer Information Systems (ACIS) - Associate Certificate (simultaneous) or COMP 1002 and COMP 1200, or equivalent knowledge, an understanding of PC use, file management and basic applications. Each course also has prerequisites.
