Description:ADAD covers the specification, development and design of Database Management Systems, and provides the foundation for several business intelligence, BI tools.

Database designers must understand relational database theory, data modelling, industry standards, SQL programming and administration.They may also work in teams to design enterprise wide, scalable information technology solutions for the public and private sectors.

Admission Requirements

  •  Grade12 Mathematics 
Applicants must have Personal Computer operating systems and applications literacy or COMP 1002 & COMP 1200 or equivalent knowledge.

A minimum of one year's professional work experience and interest in Information Systems and its relationship to technology is required.
