Statement of purpose. In 2-3 typed pages, discuss your academic and professional goals, and how your study in the MA in Art Education program would relate to those goals. Be sure to clearly identify specific teaching and research interests you would like to pursue in graduate study, and discuss them in detail. Proof of legal status in Canada: i.e. Canadian citizen, Permanent resident, Canadian First Nations (and Quebec residency, if applicable, for those eligible). International students will be required to submit a Study Permit and CAQ only after they receive an offer of admission. Official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended. Letters of reference in sealed and signed envelopes. Each letter of reference must be accompanied by a completed Academic Assessment Form. In order to be considered official, these must be mailed directly from their original source to the University. Applicants whose first language is neither English or French must write an English proficiency test (TOEFL or IELTS). Results must be sent to Concordia directly from the testing centre. Art production: A maximum of 20 examples, clearly labeled, either as a CD with powerpoint/photos of work in .jpg format or slides inserted in a clear plastic viewing sheet. You may also include documentation of exhibitions. Teaching experience: Letters or documents confirming paid or unpaid professional experience.
