Notes for Canadian Students

Concordia is committed to financially supporting our graduate students, and a variety of funding opportunities are available to both new and current students.

Graduate fellowships are awarded to students enrolled or planning to enroll in a research master's or doctoral degree on a full-time basis. These awards are allocated to students based on demonstrated academic excellence, including, but not limited to, a minimum cumulative Grade Point Average of 3.7 to 4.3, an A- average or participation in publications, exhibits and conference presentations. The duration and amount of the awards vary from one to three years and from $3,000 to $15,000 per year.

Notes for International Students

A variety of funding opportunities, both internal and external, are available to new and current students pursuing graduate studies at Concordia University. Internal opportunities include those from Concordia University and its donors, whereas external ones consist of those from the government and industry.

International students who require government-subsidized financial aid should contact their home country's embassy or Department of Education to determine what assistance programs may be available.
