Applicants must have a minimum of two years of professional experience in education or have taken at least three undergraduate courses in education and attained a minimum grade of B in each of them.
- Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 577] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 90] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5]

Two academic references are required and one should be professional. Statement of purpose. Permanent Residents, neither English nor French speaking: English Department Placement Test and must achieve the level of ENGL 212 or higher. International applicants: whose first language is neither English nor French: iBTOEFL (90+) or paper-based TOEFL (577+), or IELTS (6.5+). Official transcripts (graduate and undergraduate) for all previous university studies (complete and incomplete); if the transcript is in a language other than English or French, official translations are required along with the original language transcripts. Proof of Canadian citizenship, Permanent resident status, or refugee status.
