Description:You may want to finish your high school diploma, or just brush up on a few skills before starting on your post-secondary journey. Whatever you need, we have upgrading courses at all levels plus a supportive community to help you succeed.

Grade 11 and 12 alternative upgrading courses (07–100) in English and math are offered year-round starting in January, May, July and September. Biology, chemistry, and physics are offered in January, May and September. Most courses are offered in a lecture-based format over one semester. However, some two-month intensive math and English courses are available, as are some self-paced courses. Most of these courses are held at our Lansdowne campus. However, some English and mathematics courses are also offered at Interurban campus.

Admission Requirements


These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.

    Attendance at a program information session is highly recommended for new students. Students are admitted based on their previous educational background and experience. If your high school transcripts are dated, or if you do not have any transcripts, you will need to take an assessment before registering. (Note: There is an assessment fee which covers all math or English assessment testing in a six-month period.) Please refer to Web site for more information.
