This course is designed to teach students at the undergraduate level how to meet professors' distinct expectations of oral participation in tutorials, lectures, and study groups. Students will learn to interact with confidence in a variety of academic settings, ask and respond to questions, seek clarification, summarize small group discussions, lead class discussions, and debate topics in academic fields while familiarizing themselves with tools and techniques for improving pronunciation and analyzing their own communication ability through instructor, peer, and self-feedback.
