Description:Environmental Science is the study of the interaction between plants, animals and the environment, and human impacts on these systems. This four-year interdisciplinary program provides the scientific background necessary to address environmental issues such as pollution, climate change, resource management, and the conservation of wildlife and their habitats. This degree offers a wide range of career opportunities, with the environmental sector seeing rapid employment growth across Canada. Students select one of three streams of specialization: Biodiversity, Physical Sciences, and Resource Management.

The program includes courses offered by each of the Science departments, principally Biology, Chemistry, Geography, and Geology as well as courses from the Faculty of Arts, like Environmental Ethics.

  •  Grade12 Biology 
  •  Grade12 Chemistry 
  •  Grade12 English 

Grade 12 with a minimum of 60% average on six Grade 12 U/M courses including English, Biology 40S, Chemistry 40S, and Mathematics 40S (Applied or Pre-Calculus). In general, students from outside the province who apply for admission to Brandon University as regular students are required to have met the minimum requirements for admission to a University in the province or territory in which they graduated from High School.
