Description:The world of hospitality is interesting, diverse and varied. As a consequence, students wishing to join this popular and growing industry will find the certificate to be an excellent spring board to gaining knowledge and understanding about the industry as a whole. Upon completion of this program, students will have the skills and knowledge to gain an entry-level position within the hospitality industry. Should students choose to continue on with their studies the certificate ladders into the Hospitality and Resort Management Diploma with transfer credit into a select group of Colleges and Universities. The Certificate in Hospitality consists of six modules, each being approximately fifty hour in length.

The module introduces the student to the various components of the hospitality industry and seeks to give an overview of all related aspects currently existing in this interesting and diverse business. Because of the global nature of hospitality, international business concept are examined in detail giving the student a clear understanding of the various aspects of international business practices and procedures required in this growing market.
