Olds College’s Agricultural Management diploma program gives you a comprehensive education in all aspects of agriculture. Through a mix of classroom time and hands-on experience on the Olds College farm, students work together in small classes with like-minded peers and learn from instructors who have unparalleled knowledge and experience in the agriculture industry.

The Agricultural Production Major is designed for students who plan to work in a production enterprise, its service providers or in the new regulatory environments as auditors and inspectors. You will develop an understanding of how consumer preferences and markets influence agricultural production. Learn about agricultural environment management and sustainability, including the study of plant systems, their dependent ecosystems, and the mechanics of soil and water management.

Applicants must have 50% or better in English Language Arts 30-1 or 30-2; 55% or better in Math 20-1 or Math 20-2 (precalculus or applied Math 20); and 50% or better in two of Biology 20, Chemistry 20, Science 20, OR one of Biology 30, Chemistry 30, Science 30.
