Do you dream of becoming a PhysEd teacher? This combined program allows you to complete two degrees — a Bachelor of Kinesiology, and a Bachelor of Education (Secondary) — in just five years. By studying Kinesiology, you’ll gain expertise in human movement, exercise science, and athletic movement, preparing you for a variety of related careers in teaching and sport. You can also major in Physical Education as part of a four-year Bachelor of Education degree.

The Faculty of Kinesiology, Sport, and Recreation gives you access to all the state-of-the-art learning, research, and athletic facilities at the University of Alberta, while offering small class sizes and specialized, interactive programs. With every degree program, you’ll also have the opportunity to gain work experience by completing a practicum in your final year.
