English 12 with a grade of C+ or higher, or IELTS 6.5 overall band score, or equivalent on other internationally recognized English Language Proficiency Tests. Learn more about the accepted international language test scores. Applicants with 6.0 IELTS overall, with no band score less than 5.5, may be admitted to the program but will be required to take an English upgrading course, EASL 066, in the first semester.
International applicants must have completed a minimum of a 2-year diploma or Bachelor's degree from a recognized English speaking post-secondary institution. Please visit the website for complete program requirements.

| Application Notes : | If your first language is not English, you must meet the following English Language Proficiency requirements for entry in to Selkirk College University Transfer, Diploma or Degree programs: completion of BC English 12, or equivalent; or completion, with a grade of "C+" or better, advanced core courses in the Selkirk College English Language Program and Provincial Level English 51; or submission of a TOEFL score of 213 (computer) or ibt 79-80 or better; or submission of an EIKEN Grade Pre -1; or submission of an acceptable score on the Language Proficiency Index score of 4 or better; or submission of an IELTS score of 6.5 (no band score lower than 5.5) or English 12 with grade of C+ or higher, or equivalent on other internationally recognized English Language Proficiency Tests.
