Are you passionate about social and environmental change, enjoy working with groups, wish you could help connect people to services and opportunities in their community? Then the Community Development Work Program is for you!

This program will prepare you for an interdisciplinary field working with groups experiencing marginalization. You will build skills in critical thinking in matters of social justice, anti-oppressive practice, sustainable development, community engagement, community asset-mapping, fundraising, team building, collaborative leadership, project management, research and project evaluation, and much more.

This course will be synchronous online, meaning classes are delivered during a specific timeslot in the week. You're expected to come together online at the same time each week to engage in your studies. The course will also be asynchronous online, meaning you can access and engage with the course material anytime, anywhere, each week.

Grade12 English Applicants are required to have an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent, or mature student status (19 years or older); and English Grade 12 C or U, or equivalent (minimum grade required) or take the Centennial College English Skills Assessment for Admission. Note: You will receive an invitation to attend an Community Development Work program admission session shortly after you apply to the program. It is important that you attend the session to make sure that this program is the right fit for you.
Test Scores:	Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 570] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60]
