Description: | This one year certificate program at Sheridan College will provide students with the knowledge of planning, strategic development and execution of professional advertising. Throughout the program students will master the critical thinking skills needed to analyze and solve complex marketing communication challenges.
Some of the principle concepts students will learn about are: understanding target markets, developing and communicating a product's brand identity, creating a complete advertising and integrated marketing communications plan, developing and defending media selection and placement, and using specific advertising industry computer software. Students in this program may apply to the Co-op program during their first academic semester. Enrollment in the Co-op program is limited through an additional Co-op application process that takes place in the first semester. |
