Description:The best public management leaders have excellent critical thinking skills and a solid base of diverse knowledge. In this honours-only program, we will help you develop these skills–with an emphasis on social justice, ethics and good governance–so you can excel in today’s dynamic multicultural work environment. In our Public Administration program, you’ll focus on how governments and public organizations develop, manage and deliver services. You’ll learn about policy-making, governance, public finance and management while exploring issues such as ethics, equity and social justice. The program offers opportunities to specialize in areas like policy analysis, management or law and public policy. Through applied learning and real-world experiences, you’ll develop the skills needed to work in the public sector and beyond. If you’re interested in public service and making a difference in communities, this program prepares you for leadership roles in government and related fields.
