Requirements for Canadian Students

You are considered a domestic applicant if one of the following statements describes your current situation:

  • I am an Ontario high school student; or
  • I am a high school student outside of Ontario, but in Canada; or
  • I am a recent graduate from a Canadian high school, and have no other post secondary education; or
  • I am taking the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma within Canada

Requirements for International Students

You are considered an international applicant if one of the following statements describes your current situation:

  • I am a high school student outside of Canada; or
  • I am a Canadian Citizen enrolled in a high school outside of Canada; or
  • I am not a Canadian Citizen, Permanent Resident or Landed Immigrant, but I am enrolled in a Canadian high school outside of Canada

Procedure for Canadian Students

The centralized Ontario Universities' Application Centre processes undergraduate admissions to all Ontario universities including Guelph. Students are encouraged to complete a student profile form after they have applied.

The first trimester begins in September and ends in December, the second trimester runs from January to April, and the third trimester begins in May and ends in August.
