| Description | Through this program, students will discover corporate communications; explore media relations, electronic publishing, and crisis communication; understand various publics, including special interest groups; learn to use technological media; experience PR planning; and develop skills in PR writing. Accreditation is available through the Canadian Public Relations Society and the International Association of Business Communicators after a number of years in the industry.
Graduates may find career opportunities in professional organizations and societies; government (local, municipal, and regional); other not-for-profits, such as education, health care, religious organizations, police, libraries; corporations; public relations agencies; and advertising/marketing/promotional agencies. | | |
