Confederation College has been serving the citizens of Northwestern Ontario since 1967 by meeting the educational needs of students encompassing a catchment area of 550,000 square kilometers. We offer programming in the following sectors: Access and Upgrading; Aviation; Business; Community Services; Engineering Technology; Health Services; Culinary/Tourism; Media Arts; Natural Resources; Protective Services; Skilled Trades; and Distance Education and Online Learning. The Technology, Education and Collaboration (TEC) Hub is the newest facility. This facility will contribute to the development of a skilled, employment-ready technology and trades workforce for northwestern Ontario. It will also host vibrant research, incubation and technology transfer services to support the region’s advanced manufacturing, technology and resource sectors.

Spruce and Cedar Houses: New to Confederation College are two new fully furnished, 3.5 storey (four floor) apartment style residences. Apartments include four bedrooms per unit, common kitchen and living room with LCD flat screen, cable and internet access, en suite laundry and much more. Sibley Hall Residence: Sibley Hall is a community oriented, fully staffed, co-ed residence facility with availability for 229 students in two different rooming options. Rooms come fully furnished and features High Speed Internet Access and Wi-Fi throughout the entire building. Career/program exploration involves helping people to make decisions about their future, such as: secondary school students unsure of what to do next; mature individuals who have been in the workforce and are considering a change for any number of reasons; college students who are considering a change in their program of study; and post-secondary graduates who are looking for post-graduate opportunities. The Counselling Department utilizes a number of interest, value and personality inventories which help in career/program exploration. SUCCI proudly presents a wide variety of events, and activities to meet a wide variety of needs and interests. From Social Events planned to give you a chance to meet new people, hang out with friends and be entertained, to Wellness and Diversity Events to educate, raise awareness and engage, and our Campus Recreation Program offers a variety of sports, activities & events that will entice even the non active person to participate. A dedicated team of SUCCI Board Members, Staff and Students work hard to create an activity calendar that is fun and diverse.
Confederation College has International Student Advisors available to help you while you are a student at our college. They can assist with questions regarding your study permit, work permit, visa and other immigration issues pertinent to international students. Confederation College students have the opportunity to continue their education and transfer to other post-secondary institutions across Canada and Australia. Confederation College has agreements in place that permit credits that are earned in certain programs to be transferred to programs at other colleges and universities. This allows our students to gain advanced standing in a wide variety of programs. University degree graduates also have the opportunity to come to college to apply their learning. The International Education Centre facilitates our student exchange programs. Confederation College students have the opportunity to study abroad at one of our partner colleges or universities, and students from these partner institutions have the opportunity to come to Canada and attend courses at Confederation College.
