Description:A Civil Engineering Technologist plays an integral role in the design of buildings and infrastructure projects including highways, bridges, water and sewer systems. As a member of the team, the technologist assists engineers in survey work, collection and compilation of data, preparing estimates and bids for project designs and is part of the inspection and quality control process.

This program will appeal to those with an aptitude for assembly, who are analytical and enjoy problem solving and are strong in math. An interest in construction and the environment are essential.

Admission Requirements

  •  Grade12 Mathematics 

Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the majority of courses at the College (C), University (U), University/College (M) or Open (O) level OR Mature Student status (nineteen years of age or older as of the first day of classes and do not have an OSSD or equivalent) plus: Grade 12 Math (C) or (U).

Additional Admission Requirements:
    St. Clair College will continue to accept applications after the Equal Consideration Dates on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of available seats (oversubscribed), completed applications received at by the Equal Consideration date will receive first consideration.
