Description: | The Chemical Laboratory Technology program provides graduates with knowledge in the core sciences as well as problem solving fundamentals for chemistry, biochemistry, physics and math. This program now occupies a unique position where graduates demonstrate firm problem solving abilities that can be applied across the largest number of industries from pharmaceuticals and the petroleum industry to environmental, nuclear technology and alternative energy. Prerequisites:* | These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the majority of courses at the College (C), University (U), University/College (M) or Open (O) level OR Mature Student status (nineteen years of age or older as of the first day of classes and do not have an OSSD or equivalent) plus: Grade 12 Math (C) or (U). Senior level Physics (C) or (U) is recommended. |
