Description:Prepare for your kinesiologist certification with the Neuromechanical and Physiological Sciences stream. You'll study core courses in general health, biomechanics, anatomy, physiology, motor learning, psychology, sociology, and physical education, before specializing in the final two years of your degree.

The Neuromechanical and Physiological Sciences stream prepares students for advanced studies in human movement science, and health and fitness, or future certification and work as a kinesiologist. This accredited program is certified by the Canadian Council of University Physical Education and Kinesiology Administrators (CCUPEKA).

  •  Grade12 Biology  or  Grade12 Chemistry  or  Grade12 Physics  or  Grade12 Mathematics

  • Minimum of 70% in Grade 11 or Grade 12 English (or their equivalents)
  • At least six academic/non-academic Grade 12 courses (recommended, but not required)

Test Scores:
  • International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Pearson Test of English (Academic) [min. 65] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 70]
