Description:This advanced diploma program is designed for those who are interested in developing mobile applications for smartphones, tablets, and the web. Students will learn and apply techniques in writing apps for major platforms common in today’s mobile application marketplace. In addition, students will develop a deep understanding of object-oriented programming principles, cross-platform development both web and native, user interface design, database fundamentals, systems development, and project management, as well as being introduced to game development techniques.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
    Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) with the majority of courses at the College (C), University (U), University/College (M) or Open (O) level OR Mature Student status (nineteen years of age or older as of the first day of classes and do not have an OSSD or equivalent).
    Additional Admission Requirements:
      St. Clair College will continue to accept applications after the Equal Consideration Dates on a first-come, first-served basis. If the number of qualified applicants exceeds the number of available seats (oversubscribed), completed applications received at ontariocolleges.ca by the Equal Consideration date will receive first consideration.
