University of the Fraser Valley: Scholarships for International Students
UFV offers awards to outstanding international students, most of which don't even require an application!
In most cases, international student fees are higher than their domestic counterparts. Attending university in Canada can be expensive — that's why the University of the Fraser Valley (UFV) offers dozens of scholarships to international students every year. These awards can help take some of the pressure off your finances, and are used as a way to encourage and support serious students.
Let's take a quick look at a few of the awards that are open to international students each year from UFV:
Value: CAD $20,000 ($5,000 per year for four years)
Number per year: 10
You are eligible for this scholarship if:
- You apply to study at UFV.
- You are in your graduating year or have recently graduated.
Application deadline: You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You are automatically considered when you apply to UFV if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Value: CAD $5,000
Number per year: 30 (15 for Summer and 15 for Fall)
You are eligible for this scholarship if:
- You apply to study at UFV.
- You are in your graduating year or have recently graduated.
Application deadline: You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You are automatically considered when you apply to UFV, if you meet the eligibility criteria.
Value: CAD $5,000
Number available per year: 5
If you are an international high school student, you are eligible if you attend one of the following:
- A secondary school in B.C.
- An offshore high school that has been inspected and certified by the B.C. government.
Application deadline: You do not need to apply for this scholarship. You are automatically considered when you apply to UFV if you meet the eligibility criteria.
