Terrasses — or patios in the non-francophone world — are synonymous with summer in Montréal. As soon as the weather starts getting warmer, Montréalers flock outdoors to take advantage of the sun and catch up with friends over food and drinks.

One of the best things about Concordia is that you're in the heart of Montréal with hundreds of bar, restaurant, and café options only steps away from campus. Stroll around and you might find your new favourite terrasse!

Bar Ganadara

Plates of tteokbokki and bulgogi nachos flow freely at Bar Ganadara's summer terrasse. Spend the evening sampling Korean-fusion dishes like duck udon until the sun goes down with a large group!

Café Myriade

This student-favourite café features a raised terrasse out front in the warmer months. Sip an iced coffee between classes or bring your laptop out to study while soaking up the sun.

Grab a burger or fish and chips at Brutopia, just down the street from SGW Campus. Students frequent all the pubs on neighbouring Crescent Street, so stick around for live music and see where the night takes you.

Steps away from class, you'll find this terrasse bustling with students and bamboo steamers all day long. Whether you want soup dumplings or prefer the classic pan-fried, Sammi & Soupe Dumpling is a Concordia lunch fave.

CA LEM Crèmerie

Looking for a cold treat on a hot day? Steps away from Concordia's Loyola Campus, this Asian-inspired ice creamery is the spot for you! Enjoy flavours like Café Viet or Citron Yuzu sorbet under blue skies on their cute pink terrasse.

Le Sainte-Èlisabeth

Nearly synonymous with “terrasse” in Montreal, Le Sainte-Èlisabeth's name travels far for a reason. It's a short bike ride from SGW Campus, but this hidden ivy-covered terrasse will make you feel like you've been transported somewhere else.
